Home Health Nurse Aide

Our expanding healthcare organization is looking for a compassionate and dedicated

Home Health Nurse Aide to provide care to patients in Cook, Will, DuPage, Lake, McHenry, and Kane counties.

Position Overview

The Home Health Nurse Aide assists in delivering essential nursing care to individuals who are physically ill, disabled, recovering, or elderly. Responsibilities include supporting physicians and nurses during patient examinations and treatments, helping patients maximize their independence, and performing other related duties.

Qualifications

CNA certification preferred (or state-required credentials)

Minimum 1 year of experience in home health, long-term care, or a similar setting

Ability to assist with personal care, mobility, and daily activities

Strong communication and time-management

skills

Compassion, patience, and emotional stability when working with patients

Key Responsibilities

Assist patients with basic care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation

Monitor health status and report any concerns

Provide support under the guidance of licensed nursing staff

Work Environment

Requires travel for in-home patient visits

Occasional office work at our main location in Skokie, IL

Supervision & Reporting

Reports to : Director of Patient Care Services / Agency Supervisor

May supervise : Licensed Occupational Therapists, Home Health Aides

Pay Rate : Starting at $40 per visit
