Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
The Occupational Therapy Assistant carries out treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed therapist, communicates with patients and care teams, and documents progress accurately. They assess patient abilities, assist with rehabilitation goals, and ensure proper billing. The role includes supporting department operations, maintaining safety standards, and adapting to patient and community needs while following protocols to minimize exposure to hazards.
Candidates must hold an active Washington State Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license.

About the Department : The Rehabilitation Therapy team at CCHS focuses on a multi-disciplinary approach to whole body therapy. This innovative team involves services from PTs, OTs, SLPs, an Acupuncturist, Aquatic Therapy, and other services to deliver the best care to our community. We use autonomous treatment plans that are built for quality specific care. At CCHS, you will also have the support of the whole health system, able to treat the patient holistically with Respiratory Therapy, Family Practice Clinics, Assisted Living, Radiology, Wound Care, Palliative Care, and more.
