Siemens Healthineers is seeking to hire a Test Engineer; you will directly impact the quality and performance of our cutting-edge molecular imaging scanners used in clinical environments worldwide. You will play a key role in ensuring our SPECT / CT systems meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and clinical effectiveness, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive excellence from concept to customer delivery.
You are responsible for :
- Participating in concept definition development and design reviews, identifying potential technical problems or design flaws.
- Collaborating with engineering, service, and product management stakeholders / users to define high-quality system test specifications, including test strategies.
- Ensuring testability of formal system requirements and leveling test specifications, tracking updated requirements, and modifying test specifications accordingly throughout projects.
- Executing manual / automated informal and formal Verification and Validation, providing thorough and timely feedback to the development team on observations.
- Submitting high-quality defects for all direct and incidental findings, supporting issue elaboration and investigation at the Defect Handling Board when needed.
- Reporting expert assessments of quality within the functional area and driving regression test planning and execution.
- Participating in the evolution and implementation of product development processes and tools.
- Analyzing customer feedback and supporting customer complaint investigations.
- Interacting with internal stakeholders such as support representatives, developers, technical writers, product managers, project managers, and quality assurance colleagues.
- Maintaining prototypes in the lab in a manner consistent with clinical use, including troubleshooting issues and providing resolutions.
- Supporting software installation, configuration, and calibration of systems.
- Performing preventative maintenance and part replacements on SPECT / CT systems.
Minimum qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics or Nuclear Medicine Technology (or equivalent).3+ years of progressively responsible experience in the test engineering or nuclear medicine field is required.Outstanding candidates who do not meet the experience requirement may also be considered.Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.Ability to multi-task and stay organized in dynamic environment.Experience with the medical device industry, FDA 21 CFR Design Control and SAFe methodology, and product development lifecycle a plus.Experience with TFS, Polarion, and HP ALM a plus.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with minimal supervision.Who we are : We are a team of more than 73,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries.
