About the job

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in

Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering .

  • Strong proficiency with

    • Sigma (dashboard creation, data modeling, embedded analytics).

  • Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with

    • Snowflake (warehouse design, optimization, and security).

  • Solid understanding of

    • dimensional modeling , star / snowflake schema design, and ETL best practices.

  • Experience working with

    • Azure SQL ,

    Power BI , or other BI tools (advantageous for future report migration).

  • Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly autonomous, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. You ll collaborate closely with the data principal and data science team members, and internal data stakeholders to accelerate analytics modernization.

    The analytics environment is built on

    Azure SQL Snowflake Sigma , serving as the foundation for operational and financial reporting. Sigma is integrated directly into internal applications to deliver real-time analytics for key stakeholders. The organization is investing heavily in analytics modernization and values initiative, precision, and strong technical ownership.

    Key Responsibilities

    Dashboard Development :

    Recreate and enhance ~90% of existing Monday.com reports in

    Sigma , maintaining parity in filters, metrics, and calculations.

  • Design interactive dashboards embedded within a

    • C# / React application for operational visibility.

    Data Modeling & Optimization :

    Work with

    Snowflake as the primary analytics data source, improving schema structure and addressing legacy cleanup from prior implementations.

  • Apply strong

    • dimensional modeling principles to ensure scalable, performant analytics models.

  • Collaborate on nightly

    • ETL data flows from

    Azure SQL into Snowflake and identify process improvements.

    Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :

    Partner with

    Lucas Hall to align on reporting standards, data logic, and technical priorities.

  • Coordinate closely with

    • team for data context, validations, and testing.

  • Communicate progress, blockers, and technical recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Technical Excellence & Autonomy :

    Operate independently using existing documentation and data models to complete assigned work.

  • Ensure data accuracy, visual clarity, and reproducibility in every dashboard delivered.
  • Participate in technical assessments, peer reviews, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
