Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight : Manage all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring alignment with client goals and contractual requirements.
- Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Client & Stakeholder Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Lead regular meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Budget & Financial Management : Develop and manage project budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Prepare change orders, process RFIs, and review invoices for accuracy.
- Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure all projects adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company safety protocols.
- Work closely with site superintendents to identify and mitigate risks.
- Team Leadership : Coordinate and oversee project teams, including superintendents, estimators, and administrative staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with a general contractor.Demonstrated success managing federal, municipal, higher education, or K-12 construction projects.Proven experience delivering projects valued at $10M–$50M+.Skills :
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, P6, or similar).Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Certifications :
