Job Title : Operator II

Job Location : Westfield, IN

Shift Hours : 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM

Summary :

This position is responsible for producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a team-based manufacturing cell. The role involves detailed assembly, operation of equipment, and adherence to documented procedures to ensure product quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

Assemble medical devices and related components following standard operating procedures.

Operate various equipment, including microscopes, hand tools, syringes, and soldering or adhesive bonding tools.

Perform visual inspections, precision measurements, and tests using computerized test systems.

Repair or correct components using microscopes and appropriate tools.

Maintain accurate production and quality documentation to ensure traceability and compliance.

Package devices and verify completeness and accuracy of documentation.

Clean tools, equipment, and work areas according to documented procedures; properly dispose of hazardous waste.

Follow all safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Notify supervisors of material shortages or production issues.

Cooperate in maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum 2 years of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience.

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions in English (6th-grade level or above).

Strong basic math skills and verbal communication in English.

Proficient with electronic data collection systems and basic computer applications.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity for handling small parts.

Ability to prioritize work, make sound decisions, and function independently under minimal supervision
