Overview :

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Network Engineer with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex telecommunications networks. The ideal candidate will operate independently or with minimal supervision while analyzing, planning, programming, and executing network solutions. This role requires experience across all phases of telecommunications design, including implementation, analysis, and ongoing support, as well as demonstrated leadership in managing associated technical activities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Recommend and support the approval of major network infrastructure installations.
• Develop and deliver project milestone reports, technical briefings, and progress updates to leadership and end-user stakeholders.
• Analyze, design, and optimize telecommunications networks supporting voice, data, video, and / or wireless communications.
• Assess communication service requirements and translate them into system specifications and network architectures.
• Define problems, develop solution approaches, and document system and network requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless network integration and performance.
• Work with functional stakeholders to develop alternative network solutions and contingency plans.
• Evaluate and estimate costs for voice and data LAN services from carriers; design access and backbone networks using carrier services; and / or manage wireless network design and performance.

Required Qualifications :

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
