Position : Systems Engineer I

Nature of Role : This position is part of a team that provides In-Service Engineering support to Submarine SONAR Systems in Newport, RI. The qualified candidate will perform multi-faceted tasking with emphasis on documentation generation, administrative reviews, and technical reviews. This work will be performed on site in Newport RI, there is minimal-to-no telework available.

Responsibilities :

include but are not limited to :

• Schedule and conduct regular team meetings. Record notes as needed throughout.
• Conduct Quality Assurance functions for logistics information provided the Government Furnished Information.
• Create, update, and maintain various MS Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
• Research and identify missing miscellaneous parts / pieces for government procurement
• Review Government-provided Statements of Work to ensure accurate descriptions for contracted work
• Use PleaseReview web-based application to assign / review action items across all stakeholders
• Maintain and conduct audits on, material and repair parts inventories.
