We are seeking a dependable Class A CDL driver to handle local and regional freight for our internal operations. This role begins as part-time with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to transport goods over long or short distances
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, shipping department, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads as necessary
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly
