Distribution (Ambient Room) Team Lead

Hilco Vision has a state-of-the-art facility in Fairfield, Ohio! We are currently searching for a Distribution (Ambient Room) Team Lead to join the team! The Distribution (Ambient Room) Team Lead is responsible for working with the Distribution Supervisor and team to ensure that distribution goals are met. Areas of focus for the Distribution team Lead include Quality Control, Material Handling, Safety, Support, etc. The hours for this role are 7 : 00am 3 : 30pm. Qualifications
- Minimum 23 years of distribution, warehouse, or logistics experience; prior lead experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of distribution operations, including picking, packing, replenishment, and shipping processes.
- Experience organizing priorities and directing small teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organization & communication skills and the ability to multitask.
- Experience overseeing serialized, lot-controlled & temperature-controlled inventory to ensure product traceability and compliance.
- Comfortable operating powered industrial trucks and working at heights up to 35 feet.
- Comfortable using ladders and working at heights up to 10 feet.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Responsibilities
Train and mentor new and existing teammates on standard operating procedures, equipment, and safety practices.Oversee and participate in daily picking, packing, receiving and shipping operations within the ambient / pharmaceutical operation to ensure order fulfillment goals are met.Assign tasks, monitor progress, and adjust labor to balance workloads and meet customer delivery timelines.Serve as the point of contact for associates to resolve process issues, equipment concerns, and other interruptions that arise throughout the day.Support the Supervisor / Manager in managing performance metrics, providing feedback, and coaching to improve efficiency.Adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area.Able to work in temperature-controlled areas (36F46F).Operate power industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks) to pick orders at heights up to 35 feetOther duties as assignedPhysical Requirements
