Responsibilities
- Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
- Process customer policy change requests.
- Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
- Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
- Return all phone messages promptly.
- Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
- Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
- Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
- Generating insurance quotes.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Be outstanding at relationship building.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Obtain prospects information such as name, address, vehicle information and enter into quote sheets.
- Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management.
- Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email and potential client lists.
- Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.
- Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
- Participate in regular team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Handle customer renewals.
Requirements
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.Must have ability to multi-task.Prior Sales Experience.Must be highly self-motivated.Problem-Solving Capabilities.Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.A Property & Casualty insurance license is required.Strong work ethic and leadership skills.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Be capable of handling customer rejection.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Minimum 1 year prior sales experience preferred.Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
