- Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
- Shifts : 12-hour mid shifts (varied start times : 1 : 00 PM – 1 : 30 AM, 2 : 00 PM – 2 : 30 AM, 4 : 00 PM – 4 : 30 AM, 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 30 AM)\n
- Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs\n
- Charting System : Epic EMR\n\nEmergency Room Nurse Qualifications\n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state\n
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience\n
- Proven experience with trauma cases (MVAs, gunshot wounds, stabbings, etc.)\n
- Strong triage skills required\n
- At least 2-3 completed travel nurse assignments (no first-time travelers)\n
- Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC\n
- Ability to titrate all critical drips and perform procedural sedation for adults and pediatric patients\n
- Preferred : Trauma Bay and Epic EMR experience\n\nER RN Responsibilities\n
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse emergency room patient population, including trauma, cardiac, stroke, pediatric, and psychiatric cases\n
- Perform triage, patient assessments, and emergency interventions in a fast-paced clinical environment\n
- Administer and titrate critical drips, manage blood products, and perform procedural sedation\n
- Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
- Interpret telemetry strips and manage respiratory equipment as needed\n
- Participate in department support activities, including EKGs, assisting providers, and patient transport\n
- Float within ER zones as needed and assist with mass casualty protocols if required\n
