Seven Healthcare is seeking a Travel CVICU RN for an assignment in Nashville, TN. This position offers three 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours) with a weekly pay rate of $2,050.

Key Responsibilities of the CVICU Travel Nurse

Provide highly specialized care to post-cardiac surgery and critically ill cardiac patients.

Monitor and manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, invasive lines, and advanced hemodynamics.

Respond rapidly to cardiac and respiratory emergencies.

Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and the cardiovascular care team.

Manage post-operative recovery for CABG, valve replacement, ECMO, LVAD, and related cases (unit dependent).

Administer medications, sedation, and advanced therapies with precision.

Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and complex treatment plans.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility standards.

Requirements for the CVICU Role

Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Minimum of 1–2 years of recent CVICU or high-acuity ICU experience.

Strong critical-care clinical judgment and ability to manage complex cardiac conditions.
