Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,352 per week in Issaquah, WA

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Labor and Delivery Duration : 16 Weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery License : Current WA license or COMPACT license Certifications : ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP Must-Have : - Previous charge experience - Experience with a patient ratio of 1 : 1 to 1 : 3 - Familiarity with Epic charting system - Travel experience required Description : Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. This unit does not accept first-time travelers. The RN will be responsible for administering blood and blood products, anticoagulants, and antihypertensives. The role involves assisting with high-risk deliveries and circulating for Cesarean sections. Experience with low-risk antepartum and transition nursery care is necessary. RNs must have the ability to manage pain assessments and administer medications, including insulin drips and magnesium sulfate therapy. The unit has eight labor rooms and four triage rooms. The patient population includes adolescents, infants, and adults. The RN will attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and assist with GYN surgeries. They will provide couplet care and contribute to post-operative care in the delivery setting. The shift involves a staffing ratio of 1 : 1 to 1 : 3. The RN may also be required to float to postpartum or NICU based on skill set. Candidates must be prepared to comply with all onboarding requirements within specified time frames.
