WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in NYC.

Job Function :

Perform chemotherapy, therapeutic treatments, blood transfusions, and phlebotomy procedures.

Assess, diagnose, plan, and intervene in actual or potential health problems, and evaluate patient responses to care.

Provide education and health maintenance strategies to patients, families, and significant others.

Collaborate with and guide the healthcare team in planning and achieving patient care goals.

Manage unit operations, including patient flow, assignment, ordering, medical record preparation, and triage of sick and walk-in patients.

Job Requirements :

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Current RN license for the state of New York.

Oncology experience required.

BMT / CAR-T experience required.

BSN required.

BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
