American Consultants is seeking a local contract nurse RN Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Chino, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Telemetry Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 20 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, on call Employment Type : Local Contract We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Telemetry RN (Per Diem) to join our dynamic inpatient care team. You'll play a key role in providing specialized nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. This flexible position is ideal for RNs who enjoy working in a fast-paced telemetry environment while maintaining control over their schedule. Key Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and other telemetry data, promptly reporting changes to the care team. Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for telemetry patients. Administer medications and manage IV drips as ordered. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. Educate patients and families about cardiac monitoring, medication regimens, and discharge instructions. Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the EHR. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State] (or compact license). Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Step-Down experience required. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Strong rhythm-interpretation and clinical-assessment skills. Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking abilities.
