Job description

Job Summary

The Specialist, IT Business Management provides critical support across multiple business functions, including compliance, finance, data protection, and executive operations. This position ensures IT governance requirements are met, supports financial and business management processes, and facilitates communication and coordination at the executive level.

This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.

What you will be doing :

  • Perform monthly and quarterly access reviews, system audit trail monitoring, and project documentation reviews to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Support IT General Controls and application controls, coordinate with internal and external auditors, provide required evidence, and assist in remediation of deficiencies or audit findings to strengthen compliance posture.
  • Assist with IT financial analysis, including capital and operating expenses, projections, and variance reporting for monthly and quarterly periods.
  • Manage IT invoice processing, including contractor billing, purchasing card reconciliation, and weekly time reporting.
  • Prepare executive-level financial, project status, and governance presentations with accuracy and clarity.
  • Lead weekly Change Review Board meetings and prepare all supporting documentation, including minutes, attachments, and system updates in FreshService.
  • Review deal sheets, funding requests, IT contracts, and purchase orders, and support task management and reporting within FreshService and Archer systems.
  • Provide documentation and system evidence for PCI assessments, schedule auditor visits at theatre locations, and support audit requirements.
  • Deliver monthly training on personal identifiable information (PII) protection for employees and contractors and maintain records of training completion.
  • Support the Chief Information Officer with calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and executive communications.
  • Prepare professional executive-level presentations, reports, and materials as requested.
  • Facilitate timely communication and collaboration between IT executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

What we need from you :

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, compliance, or business operations.
  • 5+ years of experience providing executive-level support.
  • Associate degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, accounting, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX, PCI, and PII compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, Oracle EBS, CyberArk reporting, and FreshWorks.
  • Strong documentation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with IT, finance, HR, operations, and executive leadership.
