Seeking a CA-licensed therapist for in-person care

This is a great opportunity to join a great team providing outpatient care at a group private practice located in San Diego County, for a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist - LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in outpatient therapy services.

This full-time, hourly position (32-40 hours) requires a minimum of two years of direct care clinical experience and offers a competitive benefits package including holidays, paid time off, and 401(k)!

Candidates must hold an active and in good standing California license (LMFT, LCSW, OR LPCC) with the BBS and be committed to at least a one-year engagement (for patient care needs), with the potential for long-term growth opportunities!

Our outpatient group practice provides our team members with comprehensive outpatient counseling services such as referrals, intake assistance, billing, and marketing support.

We have a 90-day peer mentor program which supports all incoming therapists in providing great care and learning our systems and documentation.

Compensation : $50 - $70 hourly

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with licensed staff as needed, including monthly consultations
  • Conduct monthly check-ins with all clinicians at the office
  • Assist in the onboarding and continuous training of new staff members
  • Independently troubleshoot and find effective solutions
  • Address safety concerns and questions, and provide consistent support in the office
  • Conduct interviews for potential candidates when necessary
  • Communicate with the Clinical Leader regarding office supplies management
  • Discuss clinical matters and hiring concerns with leadership
  • Attend monthly clinical consultation meetings
  • Uphold and embody company values such as Growth Mindset, Work-life balance, Integrity, and Trust
  • Additional duties as needed
  • Monthly clinical consultation provided by the Clinical leader
  • Paid admin time
  • Treat patients both in person and via Telehealth

Qualifications :

  • Quality experience in delivering outpatient care
  • Willingness to work with couples is a plus
  • Preferably has experience with military populations
  • Must be a collaborative team player
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and respond promptly
  • Strong organizational abilities are required
  • A firm understanding and adherence to clinical boundaries
  • Ready and eager to take on leadership responsibilities
  • Ability to address both clinical and employment-related concerns
  • Dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive work culture
  • 3-month lead time credentialing process
  • An active BBS license in California as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC is required for this role
  • Must possess a valid California license
  • Proficient in conducting assessments and making diagnoses
  • Skilled and knowledgeable in developing treatment plans independently
  • Preference for military culture experience
