Position Summary
Perform a variety of tasks in support of Parks and Recreation / Open Space facility operations including development and delivery of educational programs and conducting tours; coordination and accounting for reservations and fees; and to perform a variety of tasks relative to visitor service. Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental science, education, recreation, or park management;
and Three (3) years of outdoor education / recreation or informal teaching experience.
Experience in outdoor science education or informal classroom teaching preferred.
Additional Requirements
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
Possession of a valid first aid certificate.
Possession of a valid C.P.R. certificate.
May be required to work weekends / odd days off.
