Bookkeeper
The Northeast Health District is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Bookkeeper to support our financial operations with a focus on budget preparation and tracking.
Position Summary : The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing detailed budgets, tracking expenditures, and generating financial reports. The position will be cross-trained in other bookkeeping functions including cash disbursements and receipts.
As a District Program Bookkeeper within the Northeast Health District at the Georgia Department of Public Health, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.
Job Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in accounting, business / public administration, or finance from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience; OR Four (4) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience; OR Two (2) years of experience at the lower level Budget Analyst 1 (FIP010) or equivalent position.
