The Impact You Will Make :
The Senior Associate, Consumer Credit Risk plays a crucial role in risk analysis and ensures oversight of credit quality within assigned portfolios. This position involves managing all aspects of credit quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls, and recommending opportunities for enhancing efficiency and risk reduction.
Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures. Oversee policy management and standardization to maintain consistency across risk policies.
Monitor and assess risk exposure and compliance with company standards. Identify and report on areas of risk.
Evaluate data adequacy and document retention while monitoring systems for effectiveness.
Supervise quality control, accuracy, and compliance with internal and regulatory reporting processes.
Execute ongoing maintenance of controls, mitigation strategies, and credit risk assessments.
Collaborate with business owners to ensure effective risk management and controls.
Provide oversight on risk management processes and content.
What You Bring :
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria :
Education : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience : 9+ years in Credit Risk within Banking or Financial Services.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
Deep knowledge of operational, accounting, credit, regulatory, market, and technological risks in the Financial Industry.
Strong understanding of credit policies, procedures, appropriate regulations, and laws.
Demonstrated credit analysis skills to assess counterparty performance and risks, along with modeling skills for evaluating trade positions.
Experience interacting with regulators and conducting audits.
Excellent project management capabilities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Able to interact effectively with all management levels and work both independently and collaboratively.
Certifications :
No specific certifications are required for this position.
Additional Qualifications :
Proven work history or a combination of experience, training, military service, or education.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
Compensation :
The base pay range for this position is $101,250.00 to $185,000.00 USD, based on skills, experience, training, and location.
