Inpatient Psychiatry Consultant Physician in Peoria, Illinois

Overview

JOB SPECIFICS :

• OSF Medical Group seeks a board eligible / board certified psychiatrist with expertise in psychosomatic medicine to provide psychiatric consultations for inpatient care at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, the area's only Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Support the consult liaison team consisting of 3 psychotherapists to address the psychiatric needs of hospitalized patients with initial assessment, recommendations, and follow-up to ensure seamless care coordination
• Clinic hours are M-F, 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm
• The after hours call schedule is shared equally among the local psychiatrists for a 1 : 5 phone only call rotation.
• Epic EMR
• H1B and J1 visa applications accepted
