- Receive admissions and / or transfers to the unit\n
- Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment\n
- Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems\n
- Interpret assessment / diagnostic data including labs and telemetry\n
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately\n
- Competence in Rapid Response and code events\n
- Instruct and counsel patients / families\n
- Performs other duties as assigned\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n
- Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License\n
- BLS is required at hire.\n
- ACLS is required within 6 months of hire\n\nPreferred Qualifications : \n
