Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (08 : 00 - 16 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab and Electrophysiology experience

License : State licensed

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R) with SCRQSA(R) or CCI(RCIS) with SCRQSA

Must-Have :

Travelers must live within 30 minutes or less from the facility to respond as expected when on call for STEMIs.

EP experience is required, which includes the ability to monitor, pace, and burn.

Experience in circulating and Cath Lab procedures, including PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella insertion, and balloon pump.

Description :

Position for Cath Lab Tech involves a weekday schedule from Monday to Friday.

Daily caseload per tech may vary with volume.

On-call responsibility is required on weekdays and weekends on rotation.

Weekend call begins on Friday evening at 5 PM and ends Monday at 7 AM.

Travelers may float to Electrophysiology as needed.

Preferred experience includes scrub, circulate, and monitor in all cases, along with tilt table study experience, cardioversion, and vascular experience such as carotid and peripherals, PFA, and Watchman experience.

Experience with Siemens and GE equipment is required.

A radiation badge is mandatory and must be provided by the agency.

During hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Travelers should be aware that hurricane season runs from June through November each year, with peak months being August and September.
