RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details :

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Float to other units as needed
• Patient ratios : 1 : 4-5 on days, 1 : 5-6 on nights
• Care for neurosurgical patients including spinal surgery, spine fractures, brain tumors
• Treat patients with seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, and traumatic injuries
• Manage joint replacement surgery patients
• Work with Epic EMR system
• Neuro / neurosurgical experience preferred but not required
• No specific certifications required
• Maintain professional appearance with any color scrubs
• Must be a proactive team player with positive attitude
• 26-bed unit specializing in neuro / ortho / trauma care
