Industrial & Environmental Hygiene (IEH) provides all-encompassing management and administration of environmental hygiene inclusive of : asbestos, lead, PCBs, indoor air quality, mold, hazardous materials, underground storage tanks, environmental due diligence for site development acquisitions, potable water, chemical relocation, soil excavation / characterization and disposal.
Job Description
The Senior Manager, Operations, will serve as a key leader within our Industrial & Environmental Hygiene Division. This role is primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive program for soil and excavated material handling. The Senior Manager, Operations (Hazmat) will bring extensive experience in environmental regulations, project management, and team leadership, with a strong focus on compliance with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) Part 360 regulations.

Work Experience
Ten years of full time diverse experience in area of discipline; five years experience must have been in supervisory or management capacity; or a satisfactory combination of education and experience. Preference : Weighted consideration may be given to New York State Professional Engineers, Registered Architects or candidates with knowledge or experience in : government safety or construction standards; managing complex personnel and technological issues; working effectively on a wide range of subjects, including policy formulation, budgetary control, scheduling and making highly technical operations decisions; dispute resolution, management and communications skills.
