As a Security Officer - Armed Mall Patrol Full-Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will be responsible for armed security-related duties, responding promptly to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate : $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Wed 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 30 PM

Thur 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 30 PM

Fri 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment in each situation.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any suspicious behavior.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to employees and customers.

Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift as required by Allied Universal policies and client guidelines.

Communicate professionally and courteously with employees, visitors, and customers while upholding Allied Universal standards.

Follow all post orders and instructions related to the armed patrol position, maintaining awareness of surroundings at all times.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
