Position Overview
The District Manager (DM) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, financial performance, and people development across multiple quick-service restaurant locations. This role ensures each unit meets brand standards, achieves operational excellence, and delivers an exceptional guest experience. The DM serves as a bridge between the restaurant teams and senior leadership, driving profitability, compliance, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Directly oversee [XY] restaurant locations within the district.
Ensure compliance with all brand, health, safety, and food quality standards.
Conduct regular site visits to audit operations, review performance, and support managers.
Monitor execution of LTOs, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
Financial Performance
Own district-level P&L results, including sales growth, COGS, labor, controllable expenses, and EBITDA.
Analyze financial reports to identify opportunities, address underperformance, and maximize profitability.
Drive initiatives to improve same-store sales, labor efficiency, and guest satisfaction metrics.
People & Talent Development
Recruit, coach, and develop General Managers and Assistant Managers to build strong leadership pipelines.
Create accountability through consistent performance reviews, goal setting, and clear communication.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on results, teamwork, and people-first leadership.
Strategic Execution
Implement company initiatives, new systems, remodels, and operational changes across locations.
Partner with senior leadership on growth strategies, including new store openings and remodel rollouts.
Serve as a brand ambassador in the community, ensuring reputation and customer loyalty.
Qualifications
5 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit QSR or fast casual restaurants.
Strong financial acumen with proven ability to manage P&L and deliver results.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Track record of developing people and building high-performing teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
