Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position with night shifts and Epic charting at a hospital-based unit.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
  • Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00
  • Every other weekend shifts required
  • May float within scope to other like units or sister campuses as needed
  • Epic charting system is used and experience is required
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Scrubs are provided by the facility
  • Pre-start online modules must be completed prior to beginning assignment
  • Holiday shifts are limited, and only one holiday off may be approved
  • Return staff must have been gone 1 full year to be eligible as a traveler
  • Travelers may only extend twice on night shift
  • Time-off requests must be submitted with initial application and approved at manager's discretion

  • Active NC or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Must live more than 50 miles from the campus
  • No return staff within 1 year of last employment as traveler
  • No background or license hits in the last year will be approved
