The work : Develops, modifies and applies quality principles to the development and use of software and software-based systems for make and / or buy software products. Performs verification and validation of test equipment including hardware in the loop systems. Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Performs software product reviews against contractual, technical and / or process requirements. Reviews include requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.

Desired skills : Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and resolve technical issues with multiple teams, suppliers, and customers. Knowledge of configuration management and control tools. Technical experience in a related discipline (e.g., Quality Engineering, System Safety, Engineering, Integration & Test). Experience in supporting Agile / Scrum software development. Experience with ClearQuest, DOORS, VersionOne (Agility), and / or other Configuration Management tools. Experience with Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Experience with code collaborator tools. Experience in test planning, processing, and nonconformance processing, including root cause analysis and corrective action development. Experience in establishing quality assurance performance metrics for identifying process improvement. Experience with US Military customers and / or other government customer support organizations. Lean / Six Sigma Green belt. ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE). Knowledge of AS9100D and CMMI requirements.

Ability to work remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Work Schedule : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
