Teachers and Cultural Assistants,$100-$400 (stipend). Job Summary / Basic Function Our mission is to inspire courageous global citizens through language and cultural immersion. In the Language Villages, everything from the music played to the dishes used in the dining hall reflect the cultures each was designed to represent. We are a community from all corners of the globe, passionate about learning every minute of the day.

Japanese Family Weekend offers a great way for families to spend time together, discover new foods, play games, make crafts, enjoy music and take part in outdoor fun. Program staff lead activities, teach interactive student-centered classes for adults and children, sing songs, play games, and allow participants of all ages to have a unique Japanese immersion experience.

Program Leader :

• Develop and implement a linguistically and culturally appropriate learner-centered program for the Village, working in consultation with the Program Director.
• Hire, orient and supervise Language Teacher(s) and Cultural Assistant(s).
• Create and implement the educational curriculum.
• Arrange for pre-session planning : communications for registrants, choose texts (if applicable), supplies, assessments (if applicable), and placement tools (if applicable).
