We are seeking a creative and established Land Planner / Landscape Architecture Group Manager for our well-established studio in Morrisville. This individual will lead the overall staffing, supervision, management, and growth of the studio. Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the Landscape Architecture and Planning team in the Morrisville office.
- Partner with clients to advance master plans, small area / corridor plans, develop site plans, and manage the rezoning and entitlement processes.
- Oversee design development, preparation and / or administration of contract documents, cost estimates, agency correspondence, client relations, staff supervision, and mentoring.
- Engage in business development and marketing activities, including networking, active participation in professional forums, presenting work to professional organizations, writing proposals, and maintaining budgets.
- Prepare project contracts, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Present projects to public officials and planning boards, and engage in public interaction.
- Build and grow the team and department.
- Manage exciting projects, including large-scale master planned developments, urban infill sites, residential and commercial sites, greenways / parks, and various mixed-use projects.

A degree in Landscape Architecture or Planning from an accredited program preferred.Professional registration as a Landscape Architect or Certified Planner.8 or more years of professional Land Planning / Landscape Architecture experience.Understanding of the entitlement and permitting processes for the City of Morrisville, Wake County, and surrounding communities.Experience working with local codes, ordinances, and public agency standards.Strong business development skills and knowledge of the local land development market.Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.Experience with developing and following a formalized QA / QC program.Work Environment
The role is based in an office environment near PNC Arena with approximately 10% travel in the field. The position offers a healthy backlog of work within the private and public sector, providing the tools to expand or grow the group as deemed fit.

This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00 / yr.
