Job Details :

• Work in Cath Lab Pre / Post Recovery unit with 8 or 10 hour evening shifts (1 : 00 PM - 9 : 30 PM or 11 : 00 AM - 9 : 30 PM)
• Recovery unit operates Monday through Friday from 5 : 00 AM to 9 : 30 PM
• Common shifts include 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM, 6 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM, 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM, and 1 : 00 PM - 9 : 30 PM
• Call requirement of 4-7 days per month by sign up with 60-minute response time (30 minutes preferred)
• Call hours : weekday 9 : 30 PM - 5 : 00 AM, weekend day 5 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, weekend night 5 : 00 PM - 5 : 00 AM
• Handle average of 30 cases per day including left and right heart caths, complex PCI, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Work with 23 total bays (16 beds and radial lounge with recovery chairs)
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Washington license or Compact license required
• Hospital-issued surgical attire provided
• Use EPIC EMR system and PYXIS equipment
• No floating unless emergency response required
• Floor-specific orientation less than one week if competent
• Work alongside 16 RNs in various shifts with one lead charge nurse
