Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.

Candidates should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a large academic emergency department.

The shift will be nights, consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts.

Weekend shifts will be required based on the needs of the department.

On-call duties are not required for this position.

Documentation will be completed using the EPIC system.

Candidates must hold current certifications in BLS and ACLS, in addition to NIH and PALS.

Time off must be pre-approved and included at the time of submission.

Five days of requested time off is the maximum allowed.

Local candidates are welcome to apply.

Candidates should be comfortable with various emergency cases and patient management.

Skills in areas such as arterial line management, central line care, and procedural sedation administration are essential.

Nurses will float within the hospital based on patient census.

A reference from previous employment within the last two years is required.

The patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

The department manages a variety of emergency situations, including trauma and critical care.

Candidates must be adaptable to different scenarios and possess effective communication skills.
