Posting Title : Product Engineer – Modular – Data Center

Reports To : Senior Product Developer

Location : Edgerton, Wisconsin

Salary Range : $60,000 to $80,000

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. THE MODULAR TEAM

Working in a manufacturing factory environment, modular products allow for improved quality for the customer and safety of the team. Our solutions are used by some of the largest operators in the industry—including search engine and social media companies, co-location providers and cloud service hosts.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Product Engineer assists the product development team in performing focused tasks to support the product development process. The Product Engineer must be able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and understand basic electrical and mechanical systems. They may be asked to focused on one or more of the following processes; generating a bill of material, preparing and reviewing submittals, soliciting quotes, performing basic quantity takeoffs, assembling PowerPoint presentations from multiple source documents, and printing, storing and retrieving design and engineering documents in the Document Management System.

  • Completing specific product development tasks or activities including :
  • Creating, storing, printing and submitting documents
  • Maintaining information logs (RFI, submittal, change requests)
  • Distributing information to the development team
  • Participating in team meetings.
  • Recording meeting minutes and tracking action items.
  • Facilitating the collaboration between product development teams and the manufacturing assembly teams.

  • ABOUT YOU

    Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office 365

    Familiarity with Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Bluebeam Revu

    Basic understanding of electrical wiring methods

    Basic understanding of processes and document flow on a construction project or in an industrial manufacturing environment

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

    Education :

    High School Diploma or GED required.

    Licensure / Certifications :

    None required.

    Experience :

    2 to 4 years in an administrative support role on a construction site for a general contractor, electrical contractor, or mechanical contractor, or in an industrial manufacturing environment.
