About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Lab Technician to support the setup, execution, and monitoring of tests in a power electronics lab environment. This role will involve working with high-voltage and low-voltage systems, performing thermal and durability tests, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting root cause analysis of failed components. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and support power electronics lab tests (environmental, thermal, durability, etc.).

Perform and monitor tests according to test plans, including EOL and thermal measurements.

Assist in failure analysis and root cause investigations for failed units or components.

Wire high-voltage and low-voltage cables, as well as coolant lines, to test stations.

Troubleshoot equipment and resolve setup errors.

Prepare harnesses and connectors as specified by engineering requirements.

Maintain lab organization and cleanliness following 5S methodology.

Collaborate with engineers and team members to support the development of advanced electronics products.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and components.

Understanding of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) wiring, with the ability to read schematics.

Experience with setting up and programming thermal chambers.

Familiarity with cooling systems (antifreeze, coolant, refrigerant).

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Hands-on mentality with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Flexibility, adaptability, and responsiveness in a dynamic lab environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
