We invite the right candidate to grow with us in our startup operation servicing the pharmaceutical claims processing field. We are seeking a confident and dynamic team player to take InfinityRx’s Data capabilities to the next level. The Data Engineer will be responsible for implementing new procedures, tooling, and validations for our datasets, with a strong emphasis on SQL development and AI / ML-powered solutions .
Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Modeling :
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics and decision support.
- Leverage SQL to query, aggregate, and transform large-scale datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and formulate data-driven solutions.
Data Processing and Integration :
Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources for analysis.Design and maintain SQL-based pipelines to ensure efficient data integration.Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across platforms.Statistical Analysis :
Apply statistical methods to analyze and interpret data, providing actionable insights.Perform hypothesis testing and statistical significance analysis.Algorithm & AI Development :
Design and implement algorithms to extract valuable information from large datasets.Optimize and improve existing algorithms for better performance.Research and apply AI / ML techniques to automate processes and enhance decision-making.Visualization and Reporting :
Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.Develop dashboards and reports for tracking key performance indicators.Collaboration and Communication :
Collaborate with other data scientists, engineers, and business analysts.Communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.Skill Set
Required :
Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related).Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R , and advanced SQL skills.Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.).Knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling.Familiarity with big data technologies and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred :
Previous experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure).Understanding of healthcare data standards and regulations.Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience.NCPDP experience a BIG PLUS.Benefits
Competitive salary based on experience.Paid time off.Company laptop.Room for advancement and growth.In compliance with New York's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position based in Long Island is USD $80,000 to $100,000 . The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position should it be based in NY. Our salary ranges are determined by numerous factors, including, but not limited to, role, level, experience, and location.
