Deliver on-time, every time. As a Production Scheduling Analyst, you’ll convert demand into executable schedules that keep our machining operations moving and our customers delighted.

Impact You’ll Make

  • Level-load schedules across multiple work-center groups and departments.
  • Publish achievable delivery commitments for internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Monitor planned work orders; re-plan rapidly when constraints or issues arise.
  • Balance machine / work-center capacity to sustain continuous product flow.
  • Drive S&OP alignment by reviewing adherence to the master schedule, inventory positions, and capacity utilization.
  • Hit VMI service targets while managing WIP and Finished Goods to meet inventory turn goals.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Managers and the Master Scheduler to hit plant goals.
  • Provide timely KPI reporting to senior leadership.
  • Comply with the TOMZ Quality Management System.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years in production planning for a direct manufacturer (required).
  • At least 1 year planning in a machining environment; ISO 13485 facility experience preferred.
  • ERP / MRP experience; Epicor expertise highly valued.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel; strong MS Office skills.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP preferred.
  • Education

  • BS / BA in Supply Chain or Business preferred, or equivalent education plus planning experience.
  • Preferred Competencies

  • Background in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Coachability and openness to planning standards and feedback.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs; use team lift or mechanical assist above 25 lbs.
  • Frequent computer / keyboard use.
  • Ability to operate power tools as needed.
  • Use of PPE as required : cut-resistant gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe, and slip-resistant shoes.
