This position plays a key role in contract management and is responsible for ensuring compliance with Rule 21 and associated regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

• Review medium complexity contracts to identify potential risks, liabilities, and ambiguities.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory and governance requirements throughout the life of the contract to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Manages contract performance, evaluates and leads contract disputes and makes strategic recommendations to improve contract performance.
• Collaborates with relevant stakeholders on contractual matters, mobilize internal teams to respond to customer needs, lead and form ad hoc cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues.
• Lead / support contract terms and conditions negotiations with customers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant tariffs.
• Leads and manages FERC Formula reporting, budget / forecasting, variance explanations, data requests, and monthly quarterly and year-end accruals.
• Reviews cost proposals and actual cost reports from projects to establish standard summary data cost reports and variance analyses.
• Identifies and escalates issues to management for immediate resolution, may include billing, operational, and contractual issues.
• Performs various financial and journal entries to aid in the reconciliation of projects including Non-PO's, refunds and invoices.
• Drives continuous improvement, including assisting with identifying and implementing processes, policies, and procedures.

This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

The primary work location for this position is Pomona, CA. However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at an alternate work location.
