SUMMARY

This position will provide support and administrative assistance for Player Development and the Promotions Departments, including participation in weekly casino promotions, data entry, booking hotel reservations, coordinating telephone and email assistance, handling of daily reports, processing comp paperwork, and VIP itinerary creation and management.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License and be insurable by the Tribe’s insurance.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED

Multi-line phone, computer, software programs including Synkros, LMS and MS Office, fax, scanner, copier, printer, and others.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to sit / stand for extended periods of time and occasionally bend, kneel, or stretch. May be required to lift up to 50lbs. Repetitive typing on a keyboard will be required. Normal or corrected to normal sight and hearing are required to sufficiently complete job duties. Must be able to drive a car.

TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively handle stressful and compromising situations while remaining focused and professional. Must be able to deal with difficult people or situations without losing perspective.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to handle being under constant surveillance. Work is performed in an office setting as well as the casino floor. Evenings, weekends, and holidays dependent on PD / Promotions calendars. Will be required to travel between properties.

COMMENTS

Native American and Tribal Preference will apply. Must be able to pass a background investigation and a drug and alcohol urinalysis as a condition of employment. Must be able to work flexible hours and to take on additional responsibilities when asked. Must adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality.
