SUMMARY
Provides labor to support the activities and operations of the Cultivation Department, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines. Maintain organization, cleanliness and efficiency of production area. Carry out day-to-day plant care including watering, pruning, harvesting and trimming. Monitor and maintain plant production and quality control measures in accordance all Local and State regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

- Provide plant care throughout the cycle of the grow including :
Cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, plant maintenance, plant transportation, waste disposal and assisting in inventory management
Ensure plant health by pruning, toping, trimming, analyzing plant health for pest and disease according to Company policy, as well as any other tasks requiredMaintain all cultivation facility protocols in an efficient and timely mannerManage cannabis plants, giving each individual plant the attention it needs while transplanting, pruning and feeding with oversight from the department leads and managersFacility CleaningPerform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean, sanitary and safe cultivation facility
Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitization of all cultivation equipment, surfaces and tools.Execute preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of molds, mildews, and pestsMaintain an organized work environmentReports and DocumentationAssist the Cultivation Leads and Managers with tracking plants from propagation to harvest by ensuring proper and accurate documentation for applicable activities
Ensure accurate documentation of all plant tracking numbers, lot numbers, and all other applicable informationFollows all company safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe and injury free work-zone.OTHER FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with a commercial cannabis, agricultural, or landscaping facility / company preferredAdvanced knowledge of the cannabis plant ideal but not necessary, though a strong agricultural background is strongly preferredKnowledge of large-scale commercial cultivationKnowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungiKnowledge of different cultivars and their specific needsAbility to execute techniques consistentlyGood documentation, inventory, and organization skillsExcellent time management skills.Follows all company safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe and injury free work-zone.Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detailWORK CONTEXTPhysical Requirements
Requires prolonged walking and standing and some bending, reaching, stooping and stretchingWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.Ability to lift, carry and balance up to 125 pounds (250 pounds with assistance)Ability to proficiently operate a computer and other office equipmentWorking Conditions
Work is generally performed inside a climate-controlled cultivation facility and outsideWork is subject to weather conditions, including rain and hot or cold temperaturesInvolves frequent contact with varied levels of personnel, including vendors, visitors and staffWill require working rotating shifts with varied hours / day, including evenings weekends, holidays, and special eventsMay eventually include working an alternative workweekEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalentPrevious manufacturing / laborer experience preferredEquivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.Experience working with cannabis cultivation and / or commercial agriculture and / or health industry highly desirableExperience following a health and safety compliance programA valid driver’s license and be insurable; continuing education will be required to maintain certifications and licensesAt least a minimum of 21 years old and pass a criminal background checkCERTIFICATIONS OR LICENSES REQUIRED
