About the position
We are looking for a dynamic individual who can recruit, train, and grow the mortgage division for a large top-100 Real Estate Company.
This person would be responsible for growing and leading a team of mortgage loan originators and support staff to ensure the successful origination of quality loans. This role emphasizes recruiting, training, and coaching staff while maintaining strong relationships with Realtors and customers. The Division Leader plays a crucial role in driving sales production and ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
The opportunity is to work with a rapidly growing multi-state Real Estate Brokerage that will close over $3 billion+ in homes in 2025.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, and train licensed mortgage loan originators and support staff.
- Ensure origination of quality loans.
- Generate personal production and develop relationships with established Realtors and customer base.
- Exercise administrative control over the sales function for the branch.
- Assume a leadership role among Mortgage Loan Origination staff.
- Coach, motivate, and support Mortgage Loan Originators to ensure growth and profitability.
- Define expected production goals for each Mortgage Loan Originator.
- Provide superior customer service to present and potential customers.
- Develop new business and strengthen existing relationships by assessing prospect needs and selling appropriate products.
- Generate necessary reports to track sales production and marketing program effectiveness.
- Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local policies and guidelines.
- Stay familiar with current trends in the real estate and mortgage banking industries.
- Create and maintain synergy with Operations and Secondary Marketing departments.
- Assist in maintaining a below-industry-average loan delinquency and default rate.
Requirements
Three years or more of management experience in mortgage sales preferred.Minimum three years of related experience within the mortgage industry.Strong leadership and communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills.Proficient in LOS software(Encompass), CRM, and POS systemsA bachelor's degree in finance, business, or economics is preferred.Benefits
