CNC Lathe Machine Operator Job Role :
Second Shift Machine Operator will be tasked to safely and efficiently set up and operate a CNC Mill or CNC Lathe. Machines include Okuma CNC Lathes, Mazak CNC Lathes, Mazak Mills, HAAS Mills and Mazak Integrex 5-axis machining centers. Temporary Work.
Schedule : Monday -Thursday, 3 : 00 PM TO 1 : 30 AM Pay : $25-$28 / Hr OT available.

CNC Lathe Machine Operator Responsibilities :
- Set-up including locating tools and fixtures, defining tools, touching off tools, setting jaws, vices or fixturing.
- Obtain inspection on production runs utilizing CNC Machines.
- Write simple programs at the controls
- Write programs to create fixturing if required
- Identify problems before production runs,
- Load parts utilizing overhead lifting equipment, proving tapes, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring,
- Read blueprints, precision measuring instruments
- Determine dimensions, tolerance, and tooling requirements.
- Maintain tolerancing
- Troubleshoot issues during run
- Knowledge of dimensions and tolerances for tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut and cutting tools to be used.
Qualifications / Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED.Over 5 years of relevant experience, required.
- Advanced knowledge of math, blueprint comprehension and routers, required.
- Moderate knowledge of GD&T
- Knowledge of the proper use of metrology equipment, tools / gauges and cutting tools, required.
