The Salisbury VA Health Care Center Emergency Medicine division is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our nation's heroes. Duties
- Provides comprehensive clinical care, including assessments, diagnostics, and treatment, collaborating with team members to ensure quality, compliance, and patient safety.
- Performs evaluations, orders tests, and makes treatment decisions in line with policies and guidelines.
Requirements
Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.Hold a full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. StateCompletion of an accredited residency in a core specialty.U.S. Citizenship : Non-citizens may only be considered when qualified citizens cannot be recruited, in accordance with VA policy.Preferred Experience
Board Certified / Eligible in Emergency MedicineBoard Certified in Family or Internal Medicine with emergency department experience.About our Benefits
EDRP Authorized : a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application.
