Nocturnists (Henderson, KY and Evansville / Newburgh, IN) - Sign-On & Competitive Salary

Location : Deaconess Henderson Hospital, Deaconess Hospital & Deaconess Gateway Hospital

• Primarily staffing at Deaconess Henderson Hospital
• There is 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) supporting Deaconess Gateway Hospital
• Program was started approximately 23 years ago
• Shifts are 12 hours in length
• Swing Shift available (1pm - 1am) for admissions for Evansville campuses
• 175 shifts / year (full-time); 7 on 7 off schedule
• Average # of admissions per night :
• Henderson :   5-10 patients, plus cross-cover / codes
• Midtown :   8-12 patients each, plus cross-coverage / codes
• Gateway :   10-12 patients each, plus cross-coverage / codes
• One Nocturnist per night at Henderson; Two Nocturnists per night at Midtown and Gateway
• Referral base includes ED visits, direct admissions, and regional transfers
