Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist - Pediatric Acute Care

Work Schedule :

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift. Shifts will be scheduled Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Come provide diagnostics, instrumental and non-instrumental assessment, and treatment to complex acute care patients in the areas of feeding / swallowing disorders, speech, language, communication, and cognition.

We are seeking clinical fellows who demonstrate strengths in the following :

• Ability to analyze and synthesize information from a broad-based fund of knowledge in medical communication and voice science and disorders.
• Ability to engage in evidence-based problem solving.
• Motivation to achieve an advanced level of clinical competence in prevention, screening, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with voice and swallowing disorders.
• The ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a multidisciplinary medical setting.
• Self-evaluation resulting in actively identifying steps to develop new skills and acquire knowledge.
• Ethical, responsible, and professional conduct.

Each fellowship has a 9 / 7 / 26 start date and is 13 months in duration, ending 10 / 1 / 27.
