Job Description :

As a Rough Carpenter at United Trades of America, you will play a key role in the early stages of construction, contributing to the structural framework of buildings and ensuring the stability and integrity of various structures.

Responsibilities :

• Framing and Structural Work : Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand and power tools.
• Blueprint Reading : Interpret construction drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Formwork and Shuttering : Build forms for concrete construction projects, including foundations, columns, and slabs.
• Installation of Structural Components : Install and anchor materials, such as metal studs, girders, and rafters, to provide structural support to buildings.
• Roofing Work : Assist in the installation of roof systems, including trusses, sheathing, and other related components.
• Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and team members.
• Material Handling : Lift and carry construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed for rough carpentry tasks.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other construction professionals, including project managers and other trades, to ensure seamless coordination and project success.
