The purpose of this job description is to communicate the duties and responsibilities associated with the position of Legal Assistant. The Legal Assistant primary responsibility will be to support the Legal Team in an administrative function. This role will assist the company’s in-house counsels in their preparation of and revisions to legal documents, including commercial leases and related documents, communicate frequently with internal departments as well as outside counsels, consultants, tenants, and vendors, and provide other legal support services.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
· 7+ years’ experience in legal administration support preferably with a real estate (law firm or corporate) practice group.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced use of MS Word and Excel (including redlining, comparing documents, advanced formatting, etc.)
· Typing 65 WPM
· Proven experience managing Certificate of Insurances and endorsements
· Experience with Yardi preferred, not required
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with other team members
· Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
