Our Clinical Director is responsible for monitoring the daily clinical operations of a single clinic location providing ABA therapy services. The Clinical Director ensures a clear line of communication between BCBAs, RBTs, and other team members.

What You’ll Do

The following are duties and responsibilities that the Clinical Director shall provide :

  • Monitor BCBAs and their current caseloads.
  • Ensure the smooth transition of incoming and discharging clients.
  • Monitor clinical team schedules to ensure continuous delivery of authorized services.
  • Monitor operations of day-to-day services to ensure smooth service delivery among all providers.
  • Conduct assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., preference assessment, functional assessment, staff-performance assessment, etc.).
  • Lead weekly BCBA team meetings and attend regional leadership meetings.
  • Implement training curriculum for new staff and monitor the performance of clinical staff.
  • Interview and hire all new clinical staff, including BCBAs and RBTs, and participate in the hiring process of administrative staff.
  • Design, implement, and systematically monitor skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs.
  • Supervise interns / apprentices seeking BCBA certification weekly.
  • Analyze, summarize, and graph results of assessments.
  • Complete and submit documentation promptly regarding hours of service and services rendered for prompt billing to payors.
  • Write 6-month progress reports to secure the continuation of service authorization from payors.
  • Provide team-member and caregiver training in collaboration with the Director of Training & Professional Development.
  • Ensure delivery of clinical practices per the BACB ethical code.
  • At times, maintain a small caseload of 3-to-6 clients.

  • Requirements

    Education / Experience and Other Requirements

  • Masters degree
  • Active BCBA certification, required
  • 3 years of experience as a Licensed BCBA
  • 5 years of experience in the ABA field (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license, reliable form of transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to maintain clean background / drug screenings and driving record
