ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Memphis, Tennessee.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 3x12 hour night shifts for 36 hours per week

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1 : 6-7 utilizing team nursing approach

    • \n

  • On-call and weekend coverage as needed

    • \n

  • Care for adult and geriatric patients on a 48-bed medical surgical unit

    • \n

  • Daily census of 46 patients with general medical surgical diagnoses

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

    • \n

  • Essential skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV starts and maintenance, and telemetry monitoring

    • \n

  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in medical surgical specialty required

    • \n

  • Level I Trauma experience required

    • \n

  • Travel experience required

    • \n

  • Large hospital experience required

    • \n

  • First-time travelers not accepted

    • \n

  • Must live at least 100 miles from facility

    • \n

  • Cerner charting system experience preferred

    • \n

  • ADN acceptable for this position

    • \n

  • Active RN license in state or compact license required

    • \n

  • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

    • \n

  • Must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall during assignment

    This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma Center that provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The medical surgical unit offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services. The organization maintains strict standards and policies to ensure quality patient care and professional excellence.
